1. Criteria To Qualify

Applicants are required to comply with the following financial criteria upon successful submission of their MM2H application.

Successful applicants are required to comply with the following financial Fixed Deposit placements upon receipt of the conditional approval letter from Malaysia Immigration Department.

Aged Below 50 Years Old
• Open a fixed deposit account of RM300,000.
• After a period of one year, the participant can withdraw up to RM150,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia, medical purposes, rental, furniture, car purchase etc.
• Must maintain a minimum balance of RM150,000 from second year onwards and throughout stay in Malaysia under this MM2H program.

Aged 50 Years Old and Above
• Will either:
- Open a fixed deposit account of RM150,000 OR – If full Government Pension of RM10,000 income is shown then no fixed deposit is required.
• After a period of one year, participant who fulfils the fixed deposit criteria can withdraw up to RM50,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia, medical purposes, rental, furniture, car purchase, etc.
• Participant must maintain a minimum balance of RM100,000 from the second year onwards and throughout his/her stay in Malaysia under this MM2H program.

2. MM2H Documents Required
Documents required:
• Letter of Application from main applicant
• Resume/ CV of main applicant
• 1 Set of MM2H Application Forms – for each person
• 4 Coloured Passport Size Photographs – for each person
• Certified copy of Passport/ Travel Documents (All Pages) – for each person
• Certified copy of Marriage Certificate (for Applicants with spouse)
• Certified copy(s) of Birth Certificates (for Applicants with children)
• Certified copy(s) of latest three months bank statement or other related financial document(s) to show financial capability to support your stay in Malaysia
• At least 3 months certified copies of pay slip, pension slip or income statement
• Certified copy(s) of latest three months Bank statements showing income as deposits into a personal bank account
• Criminal Clearance Letter/Certificate from government agency – Police report from country of residence or citizenship (for main applicant only)
All copies must be certified TRUE COPIES OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS by NOTARY PUBLIC / MALAYSIAN EMBASSY / MALAYSIAN HIGH COMMISSION.

Step 4. Approval letter issued by Immigration Dept
Step 5. Come to Malaysia to endorse MM2H Visa
Step 6. We submit the supplementary documents to Immigration Department
• FD Certificate – Open a fixed deposit account with any bank of Malaysia
• Medical Certificate – Possess a valid medical insurance in Malaysia
• Medical Report – Medical check up done with local Doctor
• We will assist and advise you in obtaining all these requirements
Step 7. Get endorsement of Malaysia My Second Home MM2H Visa Stamp in passport
• Issuing fee of Social Visit Pass is RM90 per year
• Duration of the Pass is based on your passport validity
• We will assist and escort you to the Immigration Department

4. How To Include Parents into MM2H

You are entitled to include your parents in the MM2H program to stay with you in Malaysia! This applicable to main applicant’s parents (aged above 60). Upon successful approval, you NO NEED to place any Fixed Deposit and the parent’s visa will be on 6-monthly basis, with renewal indefinitely for 10 years. The application to include your parents into MM2H program can start immediately after you obtained your MM2H visa.

Documents required :
• Full set of your parent’s passport
• Proof of relationship (your birth certificate)
• If both parents are applying, Marriage Certificate is required
• 3 pcs color photos (3.5cm x 5cm) of your parents

5. How To Apply For Tax-Free Car

The MM2H tax-free car incentives for local assembled car models (CKD) is only applicable within 1 year from the date of your MM2H visa was issued. In Malaysia, most of the good brand cars were produced locally (CKD) such as Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volvo, Hyundai, etc.

If you required, we will provide assistance to you to obtain a tax-free car and car financing loan.

6. How To Renew MM2H Visa

One of our important services of the MM2H is to process Renewals for applicants. To facilitate this service we have dedicated our efforts on making sure applicants are re-approved under the same conditions as they were initially approved. The original Conditional Approval Letter issued by Immigration Malaysia will be needed to process the Renewal Application.

Documents required :
• Original company letter from your employer / company stating your salary (minimum RM10,000) and position.
• Original copy of the bank statement in your country (to reflect your income).
• Full set of passport copies of each participants.
• Copy of your current MM2H approval letter.
• Copy of your children’s documents if they are schooling in Malaysia.
• Copy of your current residence address in Malaysia (regardless purchased or renting)
Note : MM2H renewals are allowed as long as participants do not violate any laws in Malaysia during their stay in Malaysia.
